The formation of this little partnership has been a long time in the making. We have been the closest of friends since we were 12 or 13 years old; gone to high school and college together; and, were there for each other as we grew into young marrieds and young mothers. Although we rarely lived in the same city after college, we have been each others sounding board and sister confessors as we raised our children, went through crises, lost loved ones or just kicked back to share our moments of joy. Luckily, our interests have always paralleled, as well. We love classic movies and literature, history, architecture, antiques, anything vintage from the 20th century, and most assuredly, decorating. We have always loved the hunt for the right piece of furniture or accessory that would complete a room.

When we decided we'd try our hand at doing this for other people, we spent a good six or eight months collecting pieces we loved, that needed to be "remade" in some way to become that perfect completion of someone else's room. So, here we are, a history teacher and a housewife, who works part time, finally bringing our little dream into reality.
